Viborg Orienteringsklub hereby invite you to Læsø
3-days 2008.
This year the concept will be more classical than the
recent years.
Event centre for Læsø 3-days is Vesterø Camping, where
you will also find good accomodation.
Friday eavenings do-it-yourself-grillparty including
price giving will also be there.
Program:
Thursday 7. aug. 19:30: Sprint Vesterø town and
harbour.
Friday 8.
aug.
Læsø champion is the winners of the classes
after two first races.
Friday eavening Grillparty Celebration and pricegiving.
Saturday 9. aug.
In the sprint You will be challenged by the well-known
‘tour of the harbour’ where it is OK to get wet, and this sprint combined with
the long classic distance in the difficult and callenging Læsø Klitplantage
will give us the Læsø champions.
They will be celebrated at Friday evenings
do-it-yourself-grillparty, where prices will be given.
For those that were not placed in the result list as
expected, there is a chance
of revenge.
Saturday we reset the clock and start again with a new
race, and in the western part of the Læsø Klitplatage you get a second chance
to show what you can.

Prizes: A
prize for the Læsø champions. The winner in each class after the first two
races. Also prizes for following places no. 4, 11, 18, 26, 33, 40, following
the principle that you have to be at the prize giving ceremony to get the
prize. Or else the prize will go to the next on the list.
Prize
giving is at the do-it-yourself grill party Friday evening.
Childrens courses: Is not offered.
Child nursing: Is not offered.
Kiosk: At the finish area
Friday and saturday.
Sanwich, coffee, cake,
softdrink, chocolate, candy.
Fridag and saturday: From the beach in the finish area.
Grillparty: Friday evening at
19-23 there is a do-it-yourself grill
party where the Læsø champions are honoured, and the prizes are given.
You must bring
your own food and drink. We arrange for a large grill, but queing must be
expected, so you might want to bring yur own grill. Please also bring your own
table and seating. A few club tents would also be nice if the forecast is for
rain. We do have a few pavilions, but there is probably not room for all.
This
is an arrangement where all contribute by bringing their own stuff, and there
is no fee for participating.
Please join the party, it
will be cozy.
Accomodation: You take care of booking your own accommodation.
Vesterø camping is
recommended.
Is close to harbour, and here
you find event centre and grill party.
Hotel ‘Strandgården
badehotel’ is also highly recommended, it is also close by the area, and here
you can really be spoilt.
