Competition areas and timings:
Thursday 15th July:            Vesterø havn. First start 19.30hrs           
Friday 16th July:                Læsø Klitplantage southwest First start  13.00hrs
Saturday 17th July:            Læsø Klitplantage northeast. First start 11.00hrs
 
Assembly areas:              
15th July : Strandgården badehotel, Strandvejen 8, Vesterø by, Læsø.
                                            800 m from the harbour.   
16th July : Læsø Klitplantage southwest. Forest edge at the end of Storedalsvej.
                                            From Vesterø to the assembly area it is approx. 6 km. See map.
17th July : Læsø Klitplantage northeast. The beach at the end of Himmerrigsvej.
                                            From Vesterø to the assembly area it is approx.10 km. See map.
 
Enquiries:    Event office in the assembly area each day, together with the finish. Payment same place.
 
Distances:  Parking – assembly : 0-350m
Assembly – start:               15th July: 500 m.
16th July: 1200 m
17th July: 800 m
 
Traffic:         You need to take special care when driving on Plantagevej, Linievej og Himmerrigsvej.
The road is very narrow and there are many cyclists.
 
Shower:       Thursday at the beach west of Stradgården.
                      Friday and Saturday: Showers at the beach by the finish.
 
Toilets:         Thursday : Toilets by Strandgården.
Firday and Saturday: 2 public toilets by car park. See map.
Courses:
 
 
Map:             Vesterø havn 15th July:  
Resurveyed 2010 sprintmap 1:5.000. Contour interval 2,5 m.
Beach, town and harbour area.
 
Læsø Klitplantage 16th and 17th July:                    
Revised O-map 2010: 1:10.000. Contour interval 2,5 m.
Exciting and difficult dune landscape with large open areas and some dispersed thickets. The contours vary from simple to extremely detailed. Few roads. Few and dispersed paths.
 
Map quality:                      Digital map, high quality printing with courses and control descriptions, sealed in a plastic bag.
 
Loose Control descriptions:
At the start there will be loose control descriptions available for those who have holders with               them.
 
Entry on the day:              We have a limited number of vacant places which can be bought on the day.
                                            Price: M/W-20: 100 kr. M/W21-: 120 kr. Hire of Emit: 15 kr.
                                            Apply at the payment area by the finish.
                     
E-mit card hire:                 Collected at the start. (but not for entry on the day)
 
Backup-card:                    Collected at the start. (but not for entry on the day)
 
Start-procedure:               Individual start. See start times on the start list.
                                            Call up: 4 minuts before start time.
Runners who miss their start time must speak to the marshals at the start.
Competitors on the easy courses will get their map 1 minute before they start
.
Electronic timing:             EMIT is used.
 
On the way:
     Thursday:                     Please respect the privacy of private areas, which are OOB.
Be careful of traffic in the harbour and town; there are also many tourists in the    harbour area.
Swimming in the area around the harbour is your own responsibility.
Friday and Saturday: 
        Sensitive areas:  The vegetation on the top of the dunes in some of the open areas is very vulnerable. Please respect this when you chose your path.
Runners must limit the traffic on the top and sensitive areas of the open dunes.
             Drinks points:      All courses have water by one or a few controls, or at a crossing of a road.
 
At the finish:                     Your time finished when you put your Emit card in the finishing control.(100)
Continue forward to area for download and you receive your split times.
 
Water:                                After you have completed your download, water and weak juice will be                                       available.
 
Max time :                          Thursday:                            1 hour.
                                            Friday and Saturday:         2½ hours
 
Kiosk:                                Friday and Saturday we have a small kiosk in the finish area selling beer, soda, coffee, sandwiches, fruit, cake, chocolate, candy as long as it lasts.
 
Results:                            Available at the assembly area.
In addition they will be available via the internet on the club’s homepage at the latest Monday 19th July.
 
Smoking not allowed:      Any smoking and use of open fire is not allowed.
                                            Violation of this will cause band from the area.
 
Prizegiving sponsor:       Superbrugsen in Byrum.
                                            Please do your shopping there.
 
Prizes:                                There is a prize for the Læsø champion in each class after the first 2 events.
This will be awarded at the event BBQ on Friday evening.
Prizegiving starts at 21:00hrs.
There will also be a prize for those 4th, 11th, 18th, 26th and 33rd in class on the principle that one must be at the prizegiving to receive it, otherwise the prize goes to the next one on the results list present at the BBQ.
 
 
BBQ Friday 19-23hrs, Vesterø Camping & Hytteby, Agersigen 18A:
On Friday evening between 19-23hrs there will be a do-it-yourself BBQ arrangement. We provide the BBQ, you bring your own food and drink. The Læsø champions will be honoured and prizegiving will take place.  Note the location on the map.
The camping area has a grill and we will provide another. However, we expect that there will be a queue, so please bring your own if you wish.
Bring tables and chairs also as we do not have any.
If poor weather is expected, we would also like some club tents to be put up, please. We have a couple of marquees but there will not be enough room for everyone.
 
This is a communal event open to all, where everyone contributes and there is no fee.
We hope that you will enjoy the company of like-minded people and have a good time.
 
Parking for the BBQ:      
There is no space available within the campsite, so it will be necessary to find places to park on the roads nearby. Please, however, park with care and consideration for locals and other road users. See map
 
Social evening at Hotel Strandgården after the sprint event Thursday.
For the participants who has registered and paid for the evening.
Please pick up you admission sign at the event office at Strandgården when you get there.
